FOOD

Eating is the activity that we as humans do at least two times a day. Now we are living in a world with many kinds of food, and we are responsible for what we eat. We can decide what kinds of food to eat and how they will affect our health and body. Food is classified acording to its health benefits.

The most beneficial food that we should consume is fresh foods. Fresh food is the best for our body. It contains a lot of vitamins mineral enzymes fibre all required for optimal health. It is true that we less likely to overeat if we eat lots of fresh food. As a result, we can lose weight easier and maintain the weight loss. Also, we are less likely to suffer constipation by eating fresh food such as fresh fruits and vegetables so we can avoid some dangerous diseases especially obesity. In addition, fresh food does wonders for our skin so we have no need for facials. If we want to be healthy we should use fresh food to cook for meal.

The second kind of food brings us lower health benefits is canned foods. Canned foods are also called tinned foods which are produced by hi-tech methods so that we can store them for a long time. They become very popular now. For example, it is easy for us to buy tinned food at markets or supermarkets, and it also take us short time and less work to prepare, just open and serve. However, canned foods have their bad sides. There are various nutrients and vitamins that will be lost when they are tinned. Also, they are added with a lot of conservatives and chemical factors that prolong the self life and apparent freshness of the food, and it will be harmful to our health if we consume too often.

The lowest health benefits food is fast food. Fast food includes hamburger, chip, French fry, hog dog, pizza and many kinds of food which contain a lot of fat and salt. Many scientists have proved that eating too much fat and salt is not good for our health. In addition, fat is known as the most harmful substance that causes namy serious diseases such as high blood pressure, heart attack, and obesity. For example, in the United States fast food is a favorist food so people here eat a lot of fast food. As a result, about 60 million American adults are obesity and another 127 million are being overweight. Eating fast food is unbenificial for our health.

In conclusion, health benefits are the main criteria to distinguish food which includes fresh food, canned food, and fast food. We often choose food based on the time we have, the money, and our awareness of nutrition and health. It is important that we should consider our possibilities and choose the best type of food so that we can keep fit and have a long life.

  2. the thesis statement should be clearer by giving the name of the food.in the paragraph 2 and 3,you should give some examples about the fresh food and canned food,and give some definition such as what the fresh food is... but in generally,the writing is good,give useful information.
